Where is Molde in Mid-Norway
Molde College proudly presents NORDIC MPS 98. The Nordic Section of the Mathematical Programming Society arranges this conference every second year. The meeting is open for all members of the MPS society, as well as all others doing research in this and related areas.
The conference takes place in Molde, a small town (about 22.000 inhabitants) in mid-Norway. Molde is situated about 300 km's south of Trondheim and 600 km's north of Oslo and is the administrative centre of Møre and Romsdal county.
The scenery around Molde is famous for its mountains and fjords. Hence, this conference will give the conference attendants a different view of Norway, maybe more of the "classic" norwegian image. Molde is easy to reach with by railway or air. The program comitte is proud to invite you to Molde and sincerely hope that you use this opportunity to see a typical small Norwegian costal town.
